Skagit Valley Studio Tour Terms and Conditions

1.    Art must be shown in a suitable studio, appropriate for public visitation, located in La Conner or Mount Vernon zip codes.

2.    Artists must receive an invitation to participate from the Skagit Valley Studio Tour committee.  See Request an Invitation page to obtain an invitation.

3.    Artists must be present during all hours of the Studio Tour, 10am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday.

4.    Participation fee must be paid in full by the due date.  Participation fees are not refundable unless artist indicates a need for a studio during the application process and we are not able to find a suitable location.

5.    Participation fees are required for each artist even if you are sharing a studio unless the majority artwork is a collaboration between artists.  Typically, husband/wife teams, friend teams are two separate artists and require both to pay.

6.    Images of artwork to be displayed on the website, and on social media must be provided by the time they are requested by both the website person and the social media person. Same images can be used for both.

7.    All art for sale or on display during the Studio Tour must be the Artist’s own work. Studios will only sell artwork of artists that have been invited to participate by the Studio Tour Committee. 

8.    Each studio must get and return signs for the event.

9.    Each artist must pick up and distribute postcards when they are available.

10. Each artist should promote the event using their own contacts and sharing NW Art Beat posts.

11. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work and space for the tour.
